What is Flipage?
An app that turns a short video into a flipbook. It takes the frames, redraws them in the style you choose, lays them out to print, and makes a flipbook video to share.
How do I make a flipbook from a video?
Pick a video from your gallery or record one, trim it to the moment, choose how many pages you want, pick a style and add a cover. Flipage gives you a PDF to print and cut, and a flipbook video.
Which videos work best?
Short clips with one clear movement: a jump, a dance move, your dog running, a wave. Steady shots with the subject large in the frame make the clearest pages. The app shows how long your clip can be.
What paper do I need, and how do I put it together?
Use A4 cardstock, 230 GSM. Print the PDF on A4 in landscape at 100% actual size, not fit-to-page. Each sheet holds 6 pages (3×2 layout, 3.5 × 4 in / 8.9 × 10.2 cm) or 8 pages (4×2 layout, 2.75 × 4 in / 7 × 10.2 cm), depending on the layout you pick in the app. Cut along the printed borders. The picture sits on the right of each page, and the numbered strip on the left is for holding and binding: keep the pages in number order, stack them neatly and bind them along the left edge.
Is Flipage free?
Downloading Flipage is free, and so is the Original style. Other styles, like Pencil Sketch, cost 1 credit per page, and new accounts start with free welcome credits. Credits are one-time purchases on Google Play, they don’t expire, and pages that fail aren’t charged.
Can I give a flipbook as a gift?
Yes. Add a cover with a title and subtitle, print it at home, and you have a handmade gift for a birthday, an anniversary, a wedding, Mother’s or Father’s Day, or Valentine’s Day.
Is Flipage on iPhone?
Flipage comes to Android first, on Google Play. The iPhone version is on the way.
